Beer Type: Light & Crisp

We crafted this simple, crisp, & delicious gruit-style ale with our pals at Mississippi Parks Connection here in MPLS. Our volunteer group, along with members of MPC, harvested nettle from the Mississippi National River and Recreation Area. The nettle was added to the mash & later to the whirlpool during brewday. Delicate herbal notes join a straight-forward, slightly malty, body for this well-rounded ale.

One dollar from each pour of Heady Nettle will be donated to MPC’s Plant for the Future campaign to preserve the urban tree canopy.
